Neighbour Disputes
Neighbour disputes can take many forms from excessive noise in flats to owners’ management and repair obligations under the Tenements (Scotland) Act 2004. In extreme cases there may be a course of harassment which requires a civil law remedy. The Protection from Harassment Act 1997 gives the court the power to award damages and/or interdict or a “non-harassment order”. We can apply for these orders in appropriate cases for clients.
